Warwick Public Library

Warwick Public Library is the hub of community learning where every child can be a reader; every resident can connect to the digital world; and every life is enriched by lifelong learning. New Flavor Media designed and created a new brand identity to better represent what the library has to offer to an ever changing population.

The logo encompasses icons for a book, a mobile device, a laptop and a reference folder. The idea came about because the library offers a wide range of programs beyond the printed word. The offerings in digital form have grown tremendously in the last five years.

The design process was rigorous and key Warwick Public Library managers and its executive director contributed to fonts and colors used. The client wanted a brand that was vibrant and captured the location and its attitude to serving its diverse clients.

Recently, the Warwick Public Library received a grant by the Rhode Island Foundation to offer home delivery service to its Warwick residents. Again, New Flavor Media create a logo representing a stamp with books and other materials flying to each home bound resident. This logo is now emblazoned on all delivery bags and is part of the design used by the postal service.
